Trip Itineraries: Show Customers What to Expect Before They Book Reading Time: 2 minutes

What’s new

Give customers a step-by-step picture of your trip

Someone's holding a smartphone that shows a trip itinerary on FishingBooker.

Your itinerary now appears directly on your trip card, so customers can review your plan before booking.

With Trip Itineraries, you can:

  • Create a rough plan for each trip – from meeting at the dock to heading back in
  • Add a title and description for every step
  • Set durations for key parts of the trip (like a 15-min safety briefing or a 2-hr offshore run)
  • Reorder steps anytime by dragging them around
  • Organize by day for multi-day trips
  • Publish when you’re ready so customers can see it on your listing

Why this matters to customers

When someone lands on your listing, they’re quietly asking a few things before they commit:

  • What will we actually be doing? Not just “fishing” – the whole day, from start to finish.
  • How much time is spent traveling vs. fishing? Nobody wants to feel surprised by a long run to the spot.
  • What do I need to prepare for? Knowing there’s a safety briefing, or that lunch is at noon, helps customers feel ready.

A written itinerary answers all of this before they ever have to ask. Customers who can picture themselves on your boat – Meet at the dock at 6 AM. Safety briefing. 45-minute ride to the reef. Full day of bottom fishing. Back by 4 PM – are far more likely to book. The more clearly anglers understand what they’re getting, the more confident they feel booking a trip.

Plans change – and that’s okay

Your itinerary is a plan, not a promise. Weather shifts, fish move, and great captains adapt. Customers who fish already know this – what matters to them is that you have a plan to begin with.

That’s why every published itinerary includes a built-in disclaimer so anglers always know conditions may vary.

Multi-day trips, covered day by day

Trip Itineraries fully support multi-day charters. You can create a separate itinerary for each day so anglers get a complete picture of the experience before they even arrive.

This is just the start

Trip Itineraries are part of our ongoing work to help you communicate your experience more clearly and stand out to the right customers. We built this based on feedback from captains and we’d love to hear what you think.
