We’re excited to see that the Veniard will be attending our Open Weekend! They’ll be joining us with an impressive line-up of Pro Team members, bringing a wealth of experience, creativity, and expertise.

You’ll find them along our legendary Fly Tyers’ Row, where they’ll be tying some of their favourite patterns live. It’s a fantastic opportunity to watch true professionals at work, ask questions about materials and techniques, and pick up insider tips and tricks to take your own fly tying to the next level.

Among the talented team attending are Ed Ford, Phil Varney, Alex Rook, Donald Stewart, and John Hood. All ready to share their knowledge and passion for the craft.

We’re especially excited that John Hood will be hosting a hugely popular “Tie Your First Fly” session, perfect for complete beginners, both kids and adults alike. John will guide you step-by-step through tying your very first fly, helping you discover just how rewarding (and addictive!) fly tying can be.

It’s always one of the standout highlights of the weekend and a brilliant way to get hooked on a new hobby.
