Today we are checking out the Disco Damsel, tied by Steve Cullen. It looks rather intricate but don't be fooled, this pattern is very straightforward.
Steve recommends this as an early season nypmh pattern that's also really effective during Damsel time when there are natural Damsel nymphs in the water swimming up near the surface.

The great thing about this pattern is the ability to swap out the colour on the ribbing on the body that acts as a trigger point for Trout. In this version, Steve is using classic Viva Green and Black colour combo but you can switch up these colours for something brighter and striking or maybe something a little darker. Get yourself some tied up in various colours and be ready for that next day out on the water!
