How to tie the Bomb-Proof Adams with Steve Cullen https://ift.tt/v9sFgSb

Today we are checking out a pattern that Steve has had in the works for a while now, The Bomb-Proof Adams. The Adams fly is a dry fly pattern that imitates an adult mayfly, caddis or midge. It's a very versatile pattern that be used across various venues. It's a pattern that be used all year round, but using it during Early spring throughout to the Summer months, you're going to have a good time.

Steve's take on this pattern includes quite a few materials, but his method of tying allows you to go smaller with this pattern, but makes it less fiddly when tying in the hackles. Have a few of these ready in your fly box, especially for the early season next year!

All of the materials needed to tie this fly are available from Glasgow Angling Centre as listed below, as always, if you need any help finding materials or substitutes then we'll be happy to help.
