How to tie the Original Concrete Bowl by Steve Cullen https://ift.tt/Sm39V8w

Today we are checking out The Original Concrete Bowl tied by Steve Cullen. If you are looking for an early season mini-lure that will provide results, then the Original Concrete Bowl is the fly you need to have ready in your fly box. There's a fair amount of material needed to make this fly, but the final product is worth it, especially when it hits the water! When it does hit the water, there's no wrong way to fish this, either by slowly stripping it back and allowing it to sink or quickly stripping it back in an erratic, jerking motion. Steve explains that the fly he's tying today is also comp legal and further explains, that when he attends early season competitions, this is his go-to pattern. This is definitely a pattern you need ready in your fly box, so get a few tied ready for the start of the Season!

All of the materials needed to tie this fly are available from Glasgow Angling Centre as listed below, but as always, if you need any help finding materials or substitutes then we'll be happy to help. Time to tie the Original Concrete Bowl, with the guidance of Steve Cullen.
